I accidentally deleted some of my DragonCon pictures. I didn't take too many but there were some in there that I liked that are lost forever.  :(

 Went to the H&M in Alpharetta and it was a bit lackluster. I hope that they merchandise their stores according to the type of people that will frequent the store. So hopefully the Atlanta location will have some cooler clothes. I just saw a lot of things that were ho-hum and a lot of women that were ho-hum. I felt like I was in a Kohl's that just had a remodel job, the setup was kinda cool but I really didn't see much that I liked. I guess I was expecting something different, I really don't have anything to compare it to given that it is my first H&M experience. But in case anyone was wondering, the Atlantic Station location opens June 13th.

 I love plays...I need to see them more often.

I should make a decision about what I want to do after I graduate.  More school--->Internship in New York or Get a job--->Move to Atlanta

One of my profs suggested that I get a minor in Art History so I won't have so many studio classes in one semester. I already have a French minor, do I really want another one?

I really love my job, even though I have to wake up at 5 AM. That job is a blessing and I am soo thankful for it. 

I have met so many wonderful people this year, it's kind of strange.

I've got an idea for my sleeve, but I'm probably going to wait till after the summer since I enjoy tanning.   

Semester is almost over!!!

Oh, I'm going to be staying up all night.

 This week has gone by very quickly and I am still a bit sick....stupid sinus stuff. I'm drinking lots of juice and taking vitamins so hopefully it should clear up in the next few days. I feel pretty great despite my stuffy nose and sore throat for a few reasons...

-My hair is freshly dyed and it only cost me $10 bucks. My co-worker buddy came over last night to liven up my hair, which leads to another reason why I feel great. I had to do some serious cleaning.
-My apartment looks wonderful!! This space is so small, sometimes it is very hard to keep it clutter free.
-I'm starting to be less angry about things and my take on life that I had in high school is slowly starting to come back. I don't like bitterness in my life and I'm trying very hard to change my attitude towards certain things. It's tough though.
-I'm going to spend the day with my Mom shopping for flowers! I would like some on my balcony, as well as a little pot full of herbs to help me out when I cook.
-I get to do a lot of baking tonight for a certain someone's baby shower. Lots and lots of tarts shall be made!

School still continues to kick my ass, but it's a fun beating. I really am enjoying pushing myself as an artist because I never thought I was much good at it. It is very rewarding to see that you can actually do something that you thought you couldn't
 

 I feel a change coming.

I miss my friends.

 Aw man, this month is killing me. I got most of the big projects out of the way though so now I can have some social time. Turned in my portfolio today and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't know what I will do if I don't get in. 

I'm excited about Friday, no school and no work. A day to clean and get a head start on next week's assignments. 

Also, I just watched a few new trailers and oh my goodness...I'm really really looking forward to WallE. Robots and outer space are totally my thing, especially cute robots. 

I know all of this is totally random and probably not worth reading, but I haven't had much sleep so I'm a bit delirious.

By the by, my Spring Break was pretty good. I accomplished everything on my list, so it was a week well spent.

In my opinion, this man is an incredible actor and gorgeous to boot. Sorry, I just watched The Professional and I have Gary Oldman on the brain.  

So, this morning at 5 am the police evacuated the entire building in which we live in. I kept hearing knocking, thinking that it was someone's roommate who left their keys. I kept thinking of the Paul McCartney song and just wanted that someone to "let 'em in". But the knocking continued and Phil got up to ask what was going on. We didn't really find out until 6:30. We were told that the whole building had to be evacuated and that we needed to walk to the clubhouse and to stay away from the front of the building. 

Well, apparently some guy in our building (not sure if he lives here or if he knew someone that lived here) had a warrant out and when the officers tried to serve it, he fired shots at them and barricaded the door. Very interesting morning and of course when we were allowed to go back, Phil and I walked around the front of the building. There were so many police vehicles and guys in full uniform complete with helmets and rifles. Very interesting indeed.

 Spring Break is here and so far so good:
+I had a delicious pancake dinner last night with Phil. 
+I shopped in Barnes and Noble, which hasn't happened since the beginning of Spring semester. I found a wonderful cupcake book with a recipe for peppermint mocha cupcakes, which I will be making during my Spring Break.  
+I worked an 8 hour shift when I was originally scheduled to work for 4 hours. How is this good? I was able to help my supervisor out and I kicked ass at the Sally Hansen plan-o-gram. I love setting plan-o-grams, my brain shuts off and I stay focused. Same thing happens when I draw still life. It's wonderful.

So, my plans for the break:

+A little bit of homework
+Rest, reading, cleaning

 So, I'm thinking about bumping up my status on Etsy. I've had an account for a couple of years now, I just didn't really know what to do with it. I guess my creative mojo wasn't flowing at the time, but times have changed. My art classes are kicking that side of my brain in gear. I'm getting all kinds of ideas, mainly for stationery since I love it so much.* Even if no one buys my items, at least I can put them in my portfolio. Speaking of which, it's due in a month. *crosses fingers* Please let everything go well.

 
Thank you to everyone for your comments. Things are much better now. I'm feeling very focused and I'm determined to get my ridiculous amount of homework finished. Oh, that reminds me...I gotta buy some fruit. 


*Interesting note about moi: I used to shop for greeting cards...not necessarily to buy for people, just ones that were well written with a great design. I still can spend hours in the card section, but I take pics of the ones I like rather than purchasing them.

I should probably get off the ordinateur.

 I could listen to Patrick Watson everyday for the rest of my life.  He sounds very much like Jeff Buckley...sigh.

So after watching the Tim Gunn show and crying a bit (I'm a weepy little cupcake sometimes), I'm super excited about the new season of Project Runway. The recently revealed designer was wearing a Vivienne Westwood necklace, so hopefully he will whip out some glorious crazy shit. 

I think I'll go to bed given that I can barely keep my eyes open.
